Lazaro Bueno BJJ Black Belt Exposed as White Belt

Lazaro Bueno was also representing himself as an instructor inRaven Tactical's CQB system. So I contacted Fernan Vargas the head of Raven Tactical about Bueno and then I received this:

Dear Members of Raven Tactical International

This is to inform you of some major changes in the Raven Tactical International Organization. After careful evaluation we have decided that we will drastically be changing our organizational structure. Effective immediately the associate membership levels will be dissolved. Only certified practitioners and instructors of a Raven Program will be eligible for membership in Rqaven Tactical International. RTI will also be eliminating the state and national director positions form the organizations structure. If you are a certified practitioner or instructor of any existing Raven program your name will continue to be listed in the directory so that your credentials can easily be verified. If you are not a certified practitioner or instructor of a Raven program we will from this point further list your web links in our new “friends” section. If you are an associate member ans wish to continue to be part of Raven Tactical International we suggest you contact us for the nearest certified training course in your area. We thank you for the service, contributions and support that you have given to Raven Tactical International in the past.

That means Laz is not and never has been any sort of instructor in the CQB system he was claiming either. What a dope. This guy Fernan Vargas seems like a straight up dude. He immediately acknowledged that Bueno has no business teaching his system and then said he'd look into it more deeply. I guess this revamp of his ranking system is the result.

I'm now more than ever, convinced that this may be a deliberate trolljob on the part of Mr. Bueno. Ther is absolutely no way he is doing this on a serious note... everything is way too out there, and way too obvious as in the case of the photoshopped image...

The guy is in too good a shape to fall into the delusional basement dwelling larper category, so clearly he puts work and effort into personal fitness, which in turn has to say something positive about his character, which makes me question if somewhere along the line we may have missed some sort of joke?

Just a possibility.

For good measure this was the original email I sent:

Hello, I'm here to inform you about some potential copyright infringement regarding one of your pictures. A man named Lazaro Bueno, a questionable martial arts instructor, has been using a version of one of your copyrighted images on his websites. Here's the original:

The reason I've decided to contact you about this in the first place is that he's taking a copyrighted photo of a soldier and adding his face to it so that he can pose as a military member (he is not, but it adds to his fake credentials). I'm from a martial arts consumer action group called Bullshido that investigates these sorts of things, and we though Capital Pictures may like to know about the image use.

Two methods off the top of my head are Tineye.com and Google image search (using the original photo as the search term). Not sure if either of those are what Uncle Skippy used (I believe he's the one who found it.

I used tineye.

I scaled Lazaro's modified image down to about quarter size to forcefully remove some details and then ran it through tineye to look for close approximations. The original image popped up.

Do you know their file name of their original pic? I could probably find it with tineye but I'm not familiar with it.
