I had a serious glimmer of hope when he got pissed about being tagged by Roy and started to unload on him when Nelson was pressed up against the cage. For a moment there he looked like the old Crocop.

Regardless, he'll always be a legend in my opinion.

Been watching MMA for way longer than any of my friends and I'm positive at this point they think I'm an idiot for thinking going on about how awesome Filipovic was prior to his stint in the UFC. Damn shame.

Whatever, watching Cro Cop wreck fighters during his tenure in Pride is one of the big reasons I got into MMA. Still one of the greatest in my book.

Not everybody stays on top. Athletes know this. Spectators and professional fans just get mad and irate when they see someone decline, but staying on top for 10 years is no simple feat, and some just can't manage it. It doesn't erase your past accomplishments though. How many people can say they've whooped Wand's ass, anyway?
