I have a feeling Aleks is the more dangerous of the two when it gets to teh str34t.

Fedor dominated for sure, he couldn't afford going all out like he did in the past(and after losing his previous fights) .

I also have to say, it was probably the first time I watched him fighting "boring", like JSP(although that's not 100% accurate; he DID try to finish Monson a couple of times, unlike JSP's style).

I really don't know what the future brings for Fedor, he certainly can beat top fighters, but he also has nothing else left to prove to anyone. He's a legend for me.

    AFAIK, Emelianenko has a daughter.

I imagine that Russian kid's face when he is asking Fedor
to let him take her out for prom 2030.

    Home at nine, kid.

What the **** is wrong with you dumbshits?

All I hear is, "FEDOR JUST FIGHTS LIKE A BRAWLER. HE NEEDS TO HAVE A SMARTER GAME NOW THAT EVERYONE HAS HAD TEN YEARS TO STUDY HIM."

Fucking guy fights the smartest game possible against a VERY DANGEROUS OPPONENT, "WHAT THE **** HE IS SO BEAT AND DONE."

I fucking hate all of you and hope you die of rape.

i wouldn't have said it that way, but i agree.

he said after the fight, "i'm a new fedor". i think he has re-evaluated his approach to fighting, and i think that's fantastic.

who knows if he's as dangerous as he used to be, but he sure beat the **** out of monson who needed assistance to walk out of the place, and took no damage himself.

Fedor used to be a lot more methodical in Pride. He knew exactly how to adjust to his opponent. If I remember correctly, Bas called him a brown belt in everything.

I think he got cocky after his knockout of Arlovski, and just started swinging. I think his grappling skills degraded because of that.

^^^ minus dying of r4pe, this.

he punched Monson to the floor 3 times, threw him down a few times, showed a really fast sprawl/reaction time, kicked the Ernesto Hoost out of his thighs, completely neutralized Monson's grappling ability, and in general totally controlled the fight.

I'd wondered what it would be like if Fedor was predisposed to keep it standing, instead of working to gnp/sub. That was it, and I approve. His adapting to the needs of the fight, was right on. You don't have to pwn someone at their own game to be great (although he often did in the past), and he used his massive skill, to keep it vertical FTW.

Monson ate so many low rounds my leg started to hurt. I'm working on a HL.
