Never noticed this before but I think Travis has a limp as he's walking to the cage.
That's not surprising. Fulton probably had a sanctioned fight on the drive over to the arena, and another in the locker-room before he walked out to the cage.

Actually, according to his pro record, he had just lost a ten-minute fight in Brazil three days prior to fighting Bullock. And before that, he had five other fights in the same month. That's seven fights in the November of 1998.

Edit: And those are just the one's we know about.

I like how whenever someone who is untrained in grappling is in a less than ideal position, they seem to imagine they're riding a bicycle.

If your thinking it looks like they were just asking bar patrons if they wanted to fight on the card that night, you would be correct.

When I showed up to the bar the guy running the thing asked me if I wanted to fight. Apparently only three Heavyweights showed up on time and they were a little desperate.

So I have to ask, would you say I was grossly underprepared, or simply outmatched? (I wasn't knocked out, my corner threw the towel)

We have an entire show in Mackay dedicated to that sort of fighter.
    http://www.dailymercury.com.au/story...ghters-wanted/

Fast and furious tradies vs boxers.

We had a few guys guys from our gym do one and afterwards they said never again.

People had turned up and had to borrow shoes. Had no mouthguards. No corner some of our guys had to corner them.

Weight classed were about a 15 odd kilo difference.

I was told a story from one of the fights where our guys were cornering some guy who had no idea about boxing and was given the advice of "Just keep hitting him"

Eventually this guy had the other dude pretty much outside the ropes and looked over to the corner for advice and they just said "Smash him" so he did.

The guy got about five or six hits before the ref decided to call break.

Very underprepared, but the other guy's not bad, so. I guess it's still something to learn from. How's the experience been for you? Or is that in another thread?
