Just got back from the doctors, I have a small fracture on one of my ribs from training. Is there any way to speed up my recovery time to get me back on the mats? The doctor advises rest and there is no way I am going to roll with an injury, but is there anything else I can do in the meantime to continue my training? I am trying to investigate some kind of muscle strengthening for the chest to help reinforce the injury and speed up recovery.
