    Since you are an athlete, you need to replenish your EFAs daily.. 30% is a good ratio for you.

    Also, your HDL/LDL ratio is generally more important than your overall blood cholesterol.

    Interesting. Thanks for those rather involved posts, Sachet.

    I've been worrying a little bit about not getting enough fat lately. Fish had been the only animal protein that I took in at all, but I recently amended that to include whey-based protein supplements (which seem to be more effective than their vegetable-derived counterparts). Nevertheless, my diet is pretty much just fuits, vegetables and carbs supplemented by protein shakes and vitamins. As such, I picked up a bottle of flaxseed oil yesterday and will begin integrating 1.5 tablespoons a day into my diet. I'll let y'all know if I feel a difference.
