What do you mean by "TKD does not promote longetivity like other martial arts"?

I'm just trying to figure out how a TKD thread on a MMA forum grows to 10 pages. I guess they weren't fooling around when they claim TKD is the most popular martial art in the world. I spent 18 months in South Korea and I know absolutely nothing about Tae Kwon Do. Must have been all that soju on the weekends. . .
