    Hell yeah! Hell no!

Surge of Chun People in Oz?

    Article link: http://www.smh.com.au/national/panda...708-1h6t1.html

Summary: Kung Fu Panda 2 shows up in the cinemas and more kids show up at kwoons (for a more in-depth analysis of why Jim Fung's _ing _hun lineage, which benefited the most from the film, is mcdojo , see provided link: http://www.bullshido.net/forums/showthread.php?t=16727). This drastic increase in people earns the academy a mention in one of the most read papers in Australia- the Sydney Morning Herald (SMH). I can personally confirm this is the truth since I have been to Jim Fung's less than a month ago (my cousin was under this kung fu influence too) and was told that me and my cousin were the 20th and 21st person respectively to take the trial lesson. Considering that it was only the 19th of September, that averaged more than one new person a day! Dang, the amount of people who joined our boxing gym in the last two months can be accounted for with only one hand...

Nothing wrong with a few more people getting interested in the MA world (even if they try a mcdojo at first - there'll be plenty of time for them to see the light!). I first trained in krotty after the second karate kid film came out in the eighties. Well, to be technical, my brother was the keen one so all of us kids were dragged along together. Still, had to start somewhere....

Like any virulent outbreak or pandemic these things peak than pass - kids in Kung fu, that survive the fever without lasting brain damage will emerge stronger, wiser and more resistant in the future
