Beats me. Apparently he started with something called Burimese boxing and ended with something he calls Indo Hapkido. His history doesn't mention how he got there and less about what he studied in between. Maybe he's Burma's counterpart to Ashida Kim.

I have no problem with INDO HAPKIDO IF Tarun Roy Choudhury has done Hapkido long enough to be able to teach it. He is Indian so the INDO part doesn't bother me. The site doesn't mention his specific training just that he started with Burmese Boxing (which it pretty badass in itself). So if he is a legit Hapikdo instructor then all is well its not like he is inventing something then throwing erroneously using Korean terms for an art with no connection to Korea.

Neh, I rather not. Most Korean people who've trained long enough already know we didn't invent TKD or HKD. And politics involved with HKD is one of the biggest ****-fest-train-wreck in the Korean history.

I never thought of it that way. I automatically assumed erroneous Korean usage was in play because that's what I see with all the TKD and HKD people in US.

Yeah, I was also thinking about pointing out that the authority here (Rock Ape) had, in the process of bashing the OP for being a moron, displayed incorrect spelling/grammar/punctuation in five separate instances. In my experience, however, that's a point which carries very little weight around here....unless it's the noob who has the bad grammar.
