I'm curious how this one ends. From my interpretation of the video it looks like the thug kid is asking for trouble and the yankee guy does a decent job restraining himself despite the encouragement of the thug kid. I always hate it when cops just arrest both parties. I've been in situations where I've clearly seen victims involved in an altercation get arrested along with the aggressor when the victim fully expected and notified the police for help rather than take matters into their own hands. The sad part is the victim could have quicky taken care of the aggressors threat and gotten out of the situation without any trouble from cops. Some of the guys I train with are cops though, so I don't maintain an F the Police attitude, I think their job is difficult but I'd always rather avoid involving calling the police because even though I think what i'm doing is right not everyone else will agree.

I kicked the crap out of someone who totally "deserved" it.
Despite being the one who called 911 and having witnesses back up my story i still spent a full 48 hrs locked up, for "questioning", clearly a euphemism for cooling off for those who missed it. (Since i was not "arrested" i was not afforded a phone call etc, and yes this is legal here.)
Only then did the detective show up to get the whole story.
My take is without an officer present at the time it's all hearsay so it seems, despite my personal experience, it kinda makes sense to arrest everyone and sort it out later.
It did suck tough, lol... It was actually worse because a friend was working while i was in holding.
At least that bastard gave me an extra pb&j...
edit: i assume the officer in the video saying he saw the incident and the video itself would work out favorably for the guy in the car, but they would likely still get arrested, no?Last edited by ChenPengFi; 10/23/2011 2:18am at .
