Thanks Juggernoob for the Ashida Kim video. I'd read all about this guy's fraud but I'd never seen on tape just how blatant it was. I once saw an Ashida Kim book in a 2nd hand bookshop in Norwich but I didn't buy it. I wish I had, just to put the fucker out of circulation.

He didn't. At least not publicly. Rumor was that the police laughed at the guy when he tried to press charges. The air force might have asked Buzz to refrain from punching out any more reporters. But come on, who the **** is going to go arrest Buzz Aldrin? Nobody, that's who.

It was LA County DA who declined to prosecute, so he was clearly arrested (technically) and booked for it. For most of us, that was not sufficient provocation to legitimate a punch to the face. But I am often stunned by how the law is applied randomly. In this case, I am glad.
