No, she just has some serious personal issues with this sort of behavior between consenting adults, apparently.

As long as it's optional (the gauntlet), I can't see any problem with it.

Not my cup of tea, but, if adults want to engage in that sort of behavior, who cares?

Here's a more robust example of a gauntlet:

Now that's some horseshit. That was blood at the end all over the floor right?

I wouldn't sue. But I probably wouldn't train there either. Just seems dangeriously stupid.

The ideal waiver to prevent your BJJ club from getting sued, is to waiver the belt whipping gauntlet.

In any case, Stacey wasn't arguing over waiver from injury so much as some sort of harassment thing, as in, peer pressure forced some innocent schmuck to undergo the torture/hazing of the gauntlet.

In any case, go over there and read the thread to get the real flavor of the silliness.

You always have the choice to walk away if you don't want to do it.

I say man up, make your decision, then live with your decision.
No need to be a bitch about it either way. But there's always got to be a cry baby fucking it up for everybody else.

Do you have to pay extra to get the midget at the end? I mean, I did at Folsom Street Fair this afternoon, but if BJJ is involved is it part of the package?
