Unfortunately he's the type of fighter who still gets a contract with the UFC. Hell Alex Caceres is fighting this Saturday.

that Dennis kid sure had a dumb strategy coming out though. perhaps he was too rocked from that first big punch to think straight, but the haymakering and diving from across the ring after he seemed to be working so well with the MT instructor that trained Akira looked pretty damn ridiculous. awesome he choked that asshole out tho.

Very happy Akira got choked OUT. I dunno if this was the case but it YET AGAIN looked like another fake tap out like he did in the first match ... well arsehole look what happens when people don't give a **** if you tap or not.

You would think that after the first fake tap controversy he would just man up and shake the hand of the better fighter.

I can honestly vouch for him. When I got knocked out in my first cage fight, when I came to, I thought I still had another round to go for a minute or so. Was just out of sorts, dazed and confused, thought I was boxing or something. I can't vouch for the fact that he pissed, moaned, and cried on Bispings shoulder like a little girl!

I saw at least two attempts at fake-tapping. One before Bermudez had the guiollotine properlly sunk in, and one just right before he actually tapped.

EDIT: Just rewatched the fight. First fake-tap is at 2:19, second one at 1:50. Bisping actually shouts "DON'T TAP!" just as he tries it the first time.

I was starting to hope Akira would win after he Brazil tapped again. It would've been hilarious if he won the whole show after tapping in every fight. Hilarious. The U mad thing would finally be funny, cause only a handful of people worldwide could honestly say they weren't mad.

But oh well. Seeing him cry and beg and try to act hard while only semi-concious was funny as well.

I finally caught up on the show, and I'm ashamed to admit that seeing Akira weep made the season for me. If he doesn't shut the **** up now, there's no hope for him.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who saw the ghost-tapping with his left hand on the waist in that guillotine. There was absolutely no mention of it from anyone--is it possible that NO ONE there saw it?
Much more likely all mention got left on the cutting room floor, but what's the point of that?
