Cant fight,. has the wrong style, has the wrong mentality, is just not a tough dude,is just hoplessly outclassed,
because I have seen these things change as people grow up.
Also I was recently inspired by a guy who was a very good fighter who I have never seen say a bad word about anybody. And pesonally I thought that was a good look. -

Yeah, I understand that. I felt like WhiteShark's post was more directed at people who spill a lot of bullshit about how their style dominates everyone else's, than get their head kicked in at a throwdown only to come back and spill more **** about how they're the biggest deal and their style has it all, which I can agree with.

Credit to anyone that steps in the ring.
If they are still a twat afterwards, criticise them for being a twat.
If their style is still **** afterwards, criticise that.
It doesn't take away the fact that they put their money where their mouth was and fought.
When life gives you lemons... BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!!
"what's the best thing about aikido then?"

I feel the "how" is important. If someone is so delusional about their ability that they think they can take anyone, I don't see how that is the basis for respect. Especially when getting beaten up somehow seems to make people think they validated their claims.
Saying, "all right, I want to test myself and step up" and actually taking something from the experience is a different thing, methinks.

No more credit for "stepping up"
