I can't help but like that fellow. With his: bitch slaps, ninja rolls, square dance to kumora attacks, elbow drps, and whatnot ... I am surprised he isnt more well known.

Yeah, in boxing they are called cans. You can make some serious bread being one. But MMA doesn't have that luxury because 1) fighters are paid ****, and 2) the number in the L column matters less in this sport, so there isn't a demand for guys who can just get rolled over.

MMA is starting to get their own journeymen. Give it a few years and tune-up fights will be common place in mma as well, even on PPV. It'll probably take longer than that, but still. Maybe when Silva only defends his belt once every 14 months against the number 7 or lower ranked fighter like B-Hop/Roy Jones did, boxers won't hate on mma so much.

I'm guessing that those were pankration fights, where strikes to the head with a closed fist are not allowed.

I must say that the dude is entertaining to watch, any way you slice it. Loving the rope-bounce, WWF style.
