    Hell yeah! Hell no!
I wish the Chun was just all about the elbows. I really did like throwing those around all over the place...actually got me excited for damage potential...then fail in the teaching.
Daniel: I don't know if I know enough karate.

    Miyagi: Feeling correct.

Daniel: You sure know how to make a guy feel confident.

Miyagi: You trust the quality of what you know, not quantity.

Chun seems to me to have a lot of the same problems as Aikido. 2 in particular.

    1. The principles on which its functionality are founded have been refined and focussed on to such an extreme that it no longer realistically applies to fighting.
In that regard, they have both become a good demonstrative tool for showing those things, but a poor tool for actually doing them.

    2. The people they attract.

I know two people who practice Teh Chun. One can handle himself well in a confrontation. Has to face and restrain violent people at work. Hits hard and barely mentions his chun.
The other never fights, hits like a child, has a fixed pigeon toed stance, with no guard up, and bleats on about how awesome the chun is at every opportunity.

    So, actually 3 similarities then.

When life gives you lemons... BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!!

not sure how to say it, but yes, the form written above in chinese is called Bitch slap in English. I was told it was to be used only in times of dire financial stress brought on by spousal demands...

For all you know that says "I like Kung Pao Chicken".

Asian tattoo artists just love people like you...you think you're getting the words "Bravery, Honor, Courage" on your shoulder but it really says "Lo Mein, no MSG".

Actually I looked up the translation dippy, but it wouldn't write it in English. Unless google's translator is broken, those Chinese characters say "Bitch Slap"

You really think Google or Babelfish do a good job of translating
    Chinese?

According to Babelfish your statement means "Cheap person ear and the area around it". According to Google translate, your statement means "slut slap to the face", not "bitch slap".

Hmm what does this mean then? 搧耳光,转译克服,战胜
