Part of the problem with casual Boxing fans is they don't judge a card by anything other than the Main Event. We had three action-packed undercards.
The undercard fighters bleed just as the main bout combatants do - and there are often times when the early fights outshine a ho hum main event.

I don't care much for Merchant, thankfully we don't get to see him too much in the UK. Just as well, I agree with Alex, Ole Larry takes effing ages to get his question out...Christ...
Saul Alvarez. He looks bloody great. To paraphrase Wayne McCullough, he looks Irish so he should be claimed, haha.
Kenny Bayliss needs a lesson from The Great Richard Steele. To me, the best ref in the World in his time (I much preferred him to "Let's Get it On!" Mills Lane). Kenny, when a fighter has both eyes damaged and can't see Morales constantly landing a big Right on the most damaged eye, you need to think about stopping it.
It's an abrogation of responsibility to wait for the Corner to pull him out. They were crap anyway, No ice, No endswell, WTF??
Brave fighter (they usually are). Erik should now Retire. He'll get paralyzed - his skills have deteriorated. -

I never liked Mills Lane...he was Ok with lighter guys but had difficulty taking charge with Heavyweights, as evidenced during the 2nd Tyson - Ruddock fight.
I don't think he worked a major Heavyweight fight after that one.
I also thought he was a self promoter. When he retired he even had his own TV show for a while - ' Judge Mills Lane '.
It didn't last very long.
Here's some more on Saturday's fight and Mayweather being his usual jerkoff self : http://ca.sports.yahoo.com/box/news?...acquiao_091911Last edited by OZZ; 9/19/2011 6:19pm at .
