Groin guards?

So recently I got kicked pretty hard in the balls and had to sit on the mat until the end of the session.

I don't want to return to training until I get a good groin guard. I went to a few sports shops but they didn't have groin guards for stand up fighting, they advised I try out other stores.

What do you guys use and where can I get one?!

it kinda depends upon what you are training.
are you talking like a padded boxing abdominal groin protector from Everlast, a leather heavy duty cup like from Kings or an Adidas slip on TKD groin protector?

edit:

currently I rotate between a Shock Doctor compression short/carbon fiber jock and cup combo and an Adidas WTF padded pull-on groin protector.

Well Im talking out muay thai, I dont know the differences between the various types of groin protectors. But I'm looking for something that allows me to kick and move freely without restricting my movements.

I use a steel cup, as I think most muay thai guys do. You don't want to use a plastic one with the way some people kick, because they can actually split right in half. Twins seems to be the most common brand, but literally every site I checked was sold out of them when I was shopping.

I got this one and just stuck it in a normal jockstrap- http://www.thunderfightgear.com/prod...products_id=69

It's nice and solid, got to me inside of a week of ordering, and you get the juvenile glee of having "THUNDER" written across your junk.

Thirded. The plastic cups are only intended for blows which are either pulled prematurely or accidental in nature. If you're running a high risk of getting kicked full force in the nuts, metal is the only way to go.

Agree with yli.

I use plastic cup with strap support. I get them from Shaolin Way in London. They do the job, which is as yli says, incidental strikes protection. Cheap as well.
