    Nope, can't see where I said that. However I did see a bit where I agreed with what W Rabbit said and gave an example.

    I would protect my spine by using my awesome cardio to run away just fast enough so he thinks he can catch me. Then when he gasses out trying I would turn round and use my own ju-jitsu skills to finish him off. :P
    While you run The dude would just go on with his life and go back to eat cheetos, smoke cigars and do judo not caring about your gimnastic ass,

    If you are gonna run away then you dont entener the argument: awesome technique but no cardio vs awful technique but awesome cardio, then you just train to run away and it does not matter if you do air punch cardio gimnastics all day long or hard contact training.

    We are gonna guess the Judoka is this guy

    Vs the yoga and air punching dude
    I dont know what you, but I would bet my money on this dude EVERY time rather than the yoga hipster

    @OP:

    For the same reason people train anything: because it's fun.

    Ah, I see where I went wrong. I obviously should have posted an intro in the noobs section. Then we could have had this whole discussion about the benefits of using Bodycombat for cardio training there. Then when I posted here could have talked about what I actually said in my initial post rather what styles I listed on my profile.
