My problem is that the op has not even approached GM Kwon with this very question. Perhaps he did and has not received an answer. In which case it would help to know such things. However I sure that he hasn't. In my past interactions with GM Kwon, he has always been very friendly and approachable. I'm sure Chief Master here would just politely ask, GM Kwon may just answer.

It sure is. However you seemed less "Land of the Free Home of the Brave, Lee Greenwood, baseball and apple pie" yesterday when you initially responded to the OP's question. What prompted the sudden wave of first amendment fondness? Or, is it inappropriate for OP to ask questions about someone's background but patriotic for you to ask questions about somebody else's questions about yet another person's curriculum vitae that you know nothing about? -

I just found many replies today.
I have been training in Hapkido in Europe & am currently 5th dan Hapkido.
I was looking for good Hapkido organization to join and have sent e-mail to GM Kwon (GM Duk Gun Kwon <kwon@usntf.com>) three times.
On my emails to GM Kwon "...... I'm looking to expand and grow with Hapkido & am looking to be established with a good organization......", "...... I would like to know your Hapkido background with your lineage of Hapkido......"
I never received response from GM Kwon, also I couldn't have any information about him even though I asked his representative about GM Kwon's Hapkido lineage and organization which issued 9th dan.
I searched his background of Hapkido, however it's impossible to find out! Is he 9th Dan Hapkido grandmaster? I wonder why I couldn't find it.
I would like to know true information of GM Kwon's background including his lineage, certificate and his skill.
I hope everybody understand my situation.
