Can I legally carry a side arm where you live ?

If the answer's yes, I think I've found Nirvana.

I got a house in Puna (Big Isle) and plenty people have guns; it's pretty wild. But the surf is not as good as O'ahu - I got some of these shots from my brother and you'll be happy to know it's now flat. As they say, "You should have been here yesterday!"

Simply awesome mate.. I've always wanted to learn how to surf. I love the ocean, I've spent many years diving and have a passion for the sea but, sadly never been in the right place or the right time to learn how to surf.

Boogie boarding is a good intro. You really feel the power of the wave rumble through your entire core.

We've always focussed on teaching surfing as catching a wave, the wave about to break. One of my kids learned surfing in Costa Rica by spending days catching the 'soup,' the white water rolling in after the wave has broken. She said that way it was really easy to catch compared to the difficult tast of judging a forming wave, and they got standing down in a couple days. Hmmm, time to plan a safari - cheap beach shack, good surf, and cheap food and booze, why are we keeping our noses to the grind-stone?

If you're serious and are ever out here send me a pm.
Fall and spring are ideal if you want to surf.

How about an area where you don't need to carry a side arm?
