Nope ,you can't just sqeeze the cheap stuff on.You need to check the UMF rating. (wiki it).
Normally you'll find it in the chemist shop because its used as a treatment rather than a spread lol,but its still edible and a few ppl take a teaspoon of it each day as a general health thing,(my mum and step father). -

There is a small difference between manuka honey and regular. But a cheaper way would be to mix some cheap honey and peroxide bleach. That will work better.
Manuka honey's one of those scams that has a grain of truth to it. Covering a wound is a good idea. Applying an antiseptic to a wound is a good idea. Manuka honey does that, but buying a box of bandaids and some dettol is cheaper and more effective. -
