    Hereís one example:
The guy throws a right cross. You cover with your left arm, then overhook the arm, whizzer the guy off to open him up and shoot the firemanís carry.

Sure, but you need an overhook on the arm or a good grip on his sleeve.

It can also work against a lapel grab; they reach for the lapel, you seize the elbow or wrist and shoot in to shoot in and go for the fireman's carry.

If the NorCal McThrowdown footage ever gets up, I think GuerillaFists gets one on Punisher.

Yeah. It's one of any number of moves you can hit from a duck-under: high-c, double, single, fireman's, tani-otoshi, or any rear lifting throw. You might want to try both the wrestling style and judo style takedown to see which works best for you.

The line between popping the elbow up and a full duck under is pretty small in my book. Additionally, half the time I get a double leg, it's usually off of the duck under to high-c.

I used to love fireman carries until someone figured out how to counter it. Its called the crucifix to lebell neck crank. There's a video clip on it http://www.onzuka.com/mainframe.html

The crucifix is the most humiliating thing that can happen to a wrestler.

I didn't exactly fireman's carry Punisher. I hoisted him up on my shoulders from a single leg. Without the arm it is technically not a fireman's carry. But it is a versatile move. Great for parties and intimate gatherings alike.

I'll see your crucifix and raise you a splado*.

*This maneuver is typically shot as a defence to a single leg. The end result is having the targets head resting on your stomach with one leg held with the arms and the other held with the legs so you're kind of in a compromising pretzel position.
