    Not quite sure what the bee in your bonnet is here, but clearly getting your back taken is a substantial risk that you ought to be aware of. If you'd read his post (and watched him grapple) you'd know he's been wrestling for a lot longer and three months is his level of BJJ training.

    I don't think anyone claims forward throws don't exist in no-gi.

    You may be able to hold kesa gatame, maybe. However, it's tricky to submit someone clueful from there and as soon you loosen up they're going behind you. The risk isn't worth the reward in sub grappling. To counter my ridiculous Judophobic claim, please show footage of someone using it successfully at the ADCC or equivalent level of competition.
