    Compression Garments for MA

    Hey guys,

I'm looking into getting some compression garments for training and am wondering what peoples opinions or tips are about them.

    Cheers

Can't say enough good about the Rupture products.

American made and of excellent quality.

I am also looking at compression clothing and I have read some good things about the Rupture gear on this site, the other brand I was looking at was Skins:

    http://www.skins.net/en-AU/index.aspx

    Here is their backup documentation:

Only thing is it is very expensive so no way I can afford it at the moment but it is getting a lot of positive feedback.

Why do you need compression gear for Goju-Ryu.

Also, little tip, if compression shorts are too expensive, cycling shorts are cheaper and do the same job.

I've tried two types of compression shorts (neither of them were Rupture) and they both sucked. The cups were on the outside of the shorts so there was a lycra screen between my balls and the actual cup. The result was very little protection and a serious risk of getting my bollocks pinched. Compression shorts sans cup or cycling shorts over a jockstrap is best IMO.

Thanks for that guys, hadn't thought of bike shorts - will probably get myself a pair.
