I have no idea how to go about evaluating a JJJ place, and a friend is thinking of attending this one. Anyone have some input for me? I don't want her taken for a ride, but if she has a chance to study at a good JJJ place, she's excited to, so...any help?

First off make sure they practice with aliveness. Any place that doesnt do any hard sparring avoid like the plague.
I feel like you eyeballin' me, dawg!

+1 to what crackhead said. Do you have a link to a website or the name of the school?

By JJJ do you mean Koryu Jujutsu? If so, which Ryu (ha) is it? If you mean modern eclectic "JJJ", which is usually a made up mix of self defense techniques, it makes a difference.
Falling for Judo since 1980
