I don't know Ronin. I mean, I can't comment on the guys fighting ability, but here's some of the things he's got on his webpage...

The UFC, what a stupid waste of time and energy! I would never teach anyone to use my methods in such barbaric tournaments, and anyone who would wish to, would not have the brain power necessary to learn my system anyway.

And...

6/. Never use a lock or hold as your main fighting method.
Locks and holds do not work in a realistic fighting situation.... It is all right to use a lock to control an attacker once he has been disabled by using a point strike or some other striking disabling method. However, if you try to use a lock or hold against someone who is trying to harm you, then you will lose the confrontation.

But his grappling is special and does work! Because, er... it's his grappling!

Because of my idea that everything that I teach must be useful, I have developed many of the wrestling techniques so that they do work in the street.

Matt, was that George Dillman or Wally Jay that was posting that crap? I don't have much love for Dillman, but I've been to a Wally Jay seminar and the guy knows his stuff.

Erle is the Dillman of Tai Chi, once a fairly skilled practitioner, he got into writing about Dim Mak and other topics, and now buys into his own bull.

So do you have any idea why Jay & Remy Presas [I have no idea of either's MA skills, but they seem more believable than GD & co] support Dillman?

Seriously? There are other good MAs that have gotten into Dill's stuff too, I CAN'T undestand why....

I can tell you why MAs with good reputations and solid fighting credentials suddenly started adding their support to Dillman and his bullshit.

Because they need the money, that's why! What, you think Dillman and the other charlatans give seminars and sell video tapes out of the goodness of their heart? It's all about making a buck off the gullible. Same as any other brand of Bullshido/McDojo. . .
