Dude, this is something to be asking your doctor. Seriously. I've gassed out loads of times but the worst thing to happen to me is I went green and puked. Losing consciousness from exercise is not something to be taken lightly and needs to be investigated by a medical professional.

I had this when I first started out training last year after 12 years of complete inactivity.
I don't know about you but I could feel it coming ie, dizzy, feeling sick, seeing stars / tunnel vision. At that point if did not immediatly stop and lay down for 5 minutes I would go out like a bitch
I went to the doctor who was no help, had blood test etc but nothing abnormal found.
In the end I had a radical change in my diet. Made sure I was getting the right vitamins. Made sure I was properly fuelled before a training session.
I also have asthma, but are you wheezing, having a tight chest etc? if not then it is probably not the asthma.
If you have warning that it's coming then you may just be working to hard or maybe have low blood sugar or something.
If you are just passing out with no warning at all then you will most certainly need to head to the doctor -
You have to work the look.

Sounds like anxiety symptoms. I used to get this when I was really stressed out at work and not sleeping properly, it would come on all of a sudden during non stressful activities like driving the car or watching tv at night. It was quite worrying at the time but I was able to get it sorted after talking to my GP. Just something worth thinking about.
