Passing this info along since WileyX glasses are pretty damn rad:

Military members (with a .mil email address) can get a free pair of WileyX Talon sunglasses by liking the WileyX Facebook page.

Posting this on Bullshido first, then going to get the word out on other social media sites. So take advantage of it while you can.

Do they come with a coupon for 5.11 Tactical Pants 2.0 (now with secret decoder cock ring)? Something about the lines of those sunglasses just says “contractor” to me.

Seriously though, don't you think it's a little disingenuous that they require the Facebook activity? If my not-yet-existent company was going to thank military folks for their service, I sure as hell wouldn't make it centered on promoting myself. What kind of thanks is that?

They look pretty much like a sleeker version of the Wiley X's I was issued...pretty much like any kind of Eyepro issued these days, that isn't the kind worn with civies.

I think clicking "Like" for a company that I actaully like to receive a free pair of balistic sunglasses costing probably $80 - 100 USD is a rather fair deal.

Agreed. Asking for a little cost-free promotion isn't a big deal when giving away your product for free. Especially considering that clicking "Like" on facebook only takes like, 1.4 seconds of your time. 1.6 if you're untrained.

Hey, maybe I am an unobservant hack but i just got back to a Facebook-accepting computer, checked their page, and noticed something a little different. I saw a deal where anyone, non DOD, could enter to win a free pair of specs on 5 Aug 2011, by hitting their 'like' button. Are these two seperate things, or did I missunderstand Phrot's OP? ...or did I miss the giveaway alltogether?
