It's also a sport. Yes promoting it is a business, as with any sport. Still, I don't think that requires ball-busting backstabbery at all times.

Should the situation change, and Zuffa find it's fortunes change, they will have NO goodwill to draw from, in partnering with other entities. They are unlikely to build a sport-wide dynamic of growth and cooperation by shitting on, and bullying fighters, promoters, clothing lines, sponsors, or anyone else.

Look at the Japanese events, and the temperament of the crowd. Is it any wonder the UFC can't seem to readily take hold there? They must seem like deranged children as a business.

Though not speaking out (for obvious reasons), their fighters are well aware they're being lowballed. If/When the dynamic changes, and the fighters are unionized, we'll likely get to hear what they actually think of DW. I can't wait.

They'll also, as a company, eventually need to have a president/spokesman who isn't a vulgarian. The sooner Fester retires to the mansion to grow his fingernails a foot long, pee into cups, and hoard athletic protectors in his dotage....the better.

^^^ There's a lot of fighting going on. Beyond Zuffa's empire. As time goes on, and they wantonly cut more explosive talent, in order to make space for their idea of who will receive the hype/ratings/buys, there will be even more promotions to step up, with big names, to grow the sport, and give us good shows.
