Didn't Fedor only have one fight left on his contract when Zuffa bought SF ?

If Fedor wants to be considered the best again he has little choice now but to sign with UFC. M-1 isn't getting any push outside Russia. Do we really wanna' see Fedor headlining Bellator ? Losing 3 in a row puts a big dent in his ability to bargain for top $$ or an automatic title shot so it would seem that if his own ego can take it (and "towel and stopwatch" allow it) we'll see Fedor climb the HW ladder like everybody else.

Yes. I'll watch him, as will many of his fans, anywhere he fights in mma.

This might be a come-up for Bellator, these latest cuts....at least until Zuffa buys them up, after they gain momentum....destroy their credibility...and close them down claiming "we couldn't do anything else"....

I rather believe we will Fedor vs Ali in Japan - if Fedor doesn't retire right away.

Actually, I think all this good for the sport; the almighty Zuffa might be slightly more charming than before the Strikeforce purchase, but the UFC's divisions are too narrow.

I don't see two or three of the top fighting stables idly sit by; either an existing promotion will get a big boost soon (I think it could be BAMMA), or a new promotion will rise.

In that context, oooooooh ye managers who ye read this:
Please, bring the ring back.

I'm glad they cut him. Maybe it will prompt him to retire and keep him from taking a bunch of additional losses as he closes out his career.

Also, I'm sure this is personal for Zuffa. They apparently had some pretty ugly negotiations with Fedor and M1. Now he's lost three in a row and it's easy for them to give him a big fat "**** you."
