This doesn't make for a long career, however. As Willie Pep once said, "First your legs go. Then you lose your reflexes. Then you lose your friends."
A perfect example of this would be Paulie Malignaggi. He's always flicking his jab. At 30-years-old, he's already on the downslide of his career. -

True, and Pep was a legend.
Without a derail, I would say guys like Malignaggi, Michael Olajide, Calvin Grove (Olajide and Grove were the two guys I was thinking of) all made a pretty damned decent career and reached some of the highest ranks of boxing, considering they couldn't punch their way through a wet tissue.
