Where can I do pullups?
I definately need some sort of lateral and or back exercise in my workout, but i've looked everywhere in my house and theres nowhere to do any pullups/chinups. I was thinking the rafters in the garage, but its cold as hell out this time of year.
Are there any other exercises that I can do that have similar results?

Man up and go into the garage. For someone calling themselves "crazy" you seem a bit scared of a little cold. I think it's a front. Do the spiders scare you? I'm just kidding with you.
Try finding a park nearby (they usually have work out stations or playgrounds with monkey bars to do pull ups on) maybe you can find one on a jogging route. DO NOT use the bar in your closet, bad idea, trust me.

Stop whining and go to the garage and do pullups you pathetic girlie man.
If you are cold then wear a scarf and some mittens.
Maybe we can come to your house and make you some hot soup so you can recover afterwards.
You noobs make me sick.

buy a pull up bar!!! i found one less than 20 $.Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. That's relativity.

Doorjam. It gives you stronger fingers as well. That's what rock climbers do pullups on.Deluxe247 tells it like it is:

Well, its more the fact that my parents use the garage to store everything that we dont have room for, so theres barely enough room to walk inside.
and reese, it would be better to have some sort of image of your own, stop trying to get one from a movie that was made almost twenty years ago.

If you live near a primary school or public park there should be something there you can do pull ups/chin ups on.
The portable chin up/dips bars don't cost that much.
Handstand pushups against a wall aren't the same exercise but they are challenging and you could try them instead for the moment. The Wastrel - So attractive he HAS to be a woman.

Just install a chin up bar with the necessary support frames on the side of your house if you can. And your worried about the cold ? ! Come on.How many chin ups will you be doing ? 30 ? perhaps 50? Ypu'll only be outside for 5 minutes or so.
And besides training in the cold is great.Far much more comfortable than training in the heat. Here in Sydney its the first month of Autumn and we still get high humidity and heat levels of up to 35 degress celcius.Training in heat such as that is not pleasent. So don't complain about how uncomfortable it is to train o.k?Hannibal: The sworn enemy of dishonest politicians, source of entertainment on Bullshido and newly appointed Office Linebacker.
