Wow, that was actually pretty good especially since it was minimal protection!

OP, do you know if you have any videos of Bak Mei fights of that sort? I have always been curious about the style of the 'white eyebrows'.

Here's one a previous season. Interesting primarily because the winner is Zhang Wei Dong, an older bagua player and lineage holder. (He also teaches taiji and shuai jiao.) As you can see, the rules were more stylized back then, but ZWD, in his late 40s at least, got the KO:

Here he is doing some drills and slappy messing around with some of his students:

So he was able to retain some flavor, it seems.

ive not seen a lot of chest knockouts in competition before (or any). nice "what-the-****-just happened?" expression on the man in black reminded me of my only punch to the heart knock-out. i got up much faster than MIB but really had no idea what was going on for a second or three, and it was only the knuckle shaped bruise that told me, later (TKD guy closed the gap while i was dealing with and distracted by his mates in an IRL comp.)

I actually think he hits "the button" on his way to the chest, but chest knockouts are rare and wondrous things.

I believe this is a new episode, as I don't see it posted anywhere yet. It is Taiji vs Karate. It's pretty good. They start out with some crazy pugil stick fight, which is funny, but then get to the coolness.

I was going to try to imbed it, but I can't read a damn thing on the page!

Great find! I have to say that the taiji player in the first match was the least taiji one I've ever seen. Not that he was bad—he was probably a little better for it, really—but he clearly has something else going on.
