It was on Syfy. I tried and still can't make it through the movie.

The director, who also did Van Damme's Cyborg, released a "Director's Cut" version of the movie on blu-ray.

Himself.

With the source being VHS stock.

With a few additional 35mm shots added in.

He's planning on doing the same with Cyborg and a Christopher Lambert film he directed called Mean Guns.

I would be happy with a Corman version Fantastic Four.......or Hasselhoff as Nick Fury

Okay no. That Nick Fury was garbage. It wasn't the worst, but it was bad.

Meh to this movie. Was okay, you didn't miss too much if you didn't see it.

Ending was stupid, Captain can fly that little bomb propeller plane, fly it accurately into the big ship. Then because the big plane is on autopilot he can only fly the plane into the ground.... Not to mention crossing the Atlantic from the Alps in a matter of minutes with WW2 space technology.

First of all, that was WW2 Space Technology powered by super-duper Asgardian mystic Cosmic Cubes! Maybe the same warp that sucked Red Skull into Yggdrasil opened a wormhole the plane passed through shortening the length of the journey.

Second of all... the controls were smashed during the titanic battle between the two Super Soldiers, Captain America and Red Skull. Maybe he couldn't pilot the plane with the same precision he piloted the buzz bomb. Maybe all he could do was ditch the plane.

But how else was Cap going to end up on ice for 70 years so Nick Fury's MiB could revive him to lead the Avengers?

you know, going over the review section again, it occurred to me that the Avengers only came out this past summer, even if it feels like much longer than eight months ago. i was kind of taking a break from review movies, as you all noticed, but did really no one else bother to write up a review of one of the best comic book movies of all time? i bring this up only because Cap's arc does kind of finally close as he comes to terms with living in the present and it would have been nice to see someone else comment on that.

i don't really know how i feel about working on the backlog of films i missed while on hiatus. they're films that aren't close enough to be timely, but not really old enough to be considered classics either.
