The world needs more Bas Rutten at all times. Also, Wushu vs. Muay Thai? Isn't wushu not looked kindly upon by folks like us? When it comes to kung fu all I know is to yell about Wing Chun and to troll Omega.

They could be referring to to sanda/san shou style ring sport kung fu when they say wushu. I am under the impression wushu is about as generic a term for Chinese martial arts as kung fu is. I could be wrong though.

edit: I bothered to read the press release and there are indeed 5 or so sanda guys. Not sure what the Wushu guy is up to though.

Don't be so tsuntsun, brah. I like freakshows. If we didn't have those we'd never get to see Bob Sapp trying to drill to the center of the earth with Nogg's head. Mainly it's this:

Radeem Rahman is Singapore's first professional MMA fighter, and he will be facing Ghosh, an Indian Karate champion. The home town hero should be able to pull it off in front of a partisan crowd.

It says that Rahman has fought many MT fights. Yes he's the underdog because of Ghosh's 4-2 ammy MMA record. But it's not a freakshow.

Honestly, I find that disrespectful towards the fighters. These guys (and the promotion itself) are entering MMA from the ground up. Have some respect, please.

P.S. Their website is shaping up quite nicely.
