For you wrestling fans I thought I would share this. RVD or Rob Van Damme came to my town Tuesday for an autograph signing. I got to be his bodyguard, like he needed it. This has got to be one of the most down to earth friendliest Pro Wrestlers I ever met. He was late so he literally gave his shirt of his back signed to one of his fans. He did things above and beyond any other person I've done escort for. We had dinner afterward (He picked up the check, go figure) and I got to pick his brain, I hope he doesn't mind me posting this:
1. He's married to a wonderful woman, sorry ladies.
2. He trained in PKA style of kickboxing.
3. He love NHB and knows Don Frye.
4. He loves comics, Ghost Rider being his favorite.
5. He's coming out with a new shirt look for it, that's the one he gave away (I think)
6. His favorite wrestler is Booker T.

If you're not a fan of RVD you should be, this guy is great.

You play any collectible card games or collect comics? I used to hang out at a card shop in San Diego and I met the Undertaker...hehe. Those were the days.

I agree about RVD. I've never met him but from what I've seen he seems like he is really down to Earth and a really cool guy. A heck of an athlete too. he takes a lot of punishment. He's tough. I like him a lot.

I also like comics. I was always into Spidey so the film this year was pretty cool to watch. I just got a degree in graphics but honestly I still hope to pencil comics. I need to finish some drawings and send them in to Image or somebody. I have a whole book designed and planned out.

RVD had me rolling when he was talking how the WWF wanted him to yell at the camera and he couldn't get himself to do it.....

I am an RVD fan (how can't you be)

His only drawback is he like GhostRider! :)

He is an advid weightlifter too. Great guy

I meet Christian in Tampa last year at a comic book shop. He was just shopping for comics (X-men) and I tried not to act like a typical fan. I tried to act nonchalant like, "Hey you look familiar. You're on TV. Mind signing this for my daughter" Yeah right!! I know he saw through that one.
