What is the orignial intent of rank? Maybe I'm missing something.
Personally, I don't think I'm deserving of my rank. Sensei says I am so I humbly accept and strive to prove myself worthy and not disapoint. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited when I'm "promoted".
Why is rank being such a huge deal? -
