As long as the boxer knows how to look after his knuckles and understands he doesn't want to clinch, its a huge advantage. Some of the toughest dudes I know have boxing experience.

All of those, in extreme circumstances:

i was trying to get some information from people that encounter a lot of street violence, and have some knowledge about MA , and see if they have an opinion about some one's chances against the average brawler.
Incidentally, the two guys in the video are good representatives of the average brawler. Perhaps you can determine for yourself how effective boxing would be against them.

well i have no doubt that judo is very effective, i actually practiced it for a year, and dislocated my shoulder 3 times before switching to boxing and kickboxing.
It's hard to see from this angle, but yes, the consensus seems to say a drop Ippon-Seoi-Nage. If you're ever in TA and wanna do good judo, with no ego in a really good group, you're welcome to train where I train. Lebell can attest to the place's quality.

Also, how did you dislocate your shoulder 3 times in one year? Is it loose? is it like Mel Gibson in Lethal weapon where he freely pops it in and out?

this guys are big and strong, but they cant fight for ****.
I disagree with the first half of your statement, but the second half hits the nail on the head and should give you a pretty good indication of how a boxer would fare in teh street.

Wow, that was awful. The motorcycle jumps during the fight was a nice touch, though. :problem:

I would've preferred it if the fight took place on the landing ramp. I'm sure its just a matter of time before they up the ante.
