if i find the time i might pop in to watch a class. i've always been interested to see what this school is like.

I can give a call on my lunch break today if that helps, see if I can get names, organisations, lineage etc straight from the horses mouth, he might not be happy with people talking on his behalf. I'm extremely good on the phone, it being my profession and all. I can probably clear this up today. I will call in relation to this thread, I do not lie, it makes it harder to elicit the truth.

Let me know if this is an option you want me to pursue.

Hi Danno,

Monday, Wednesday or Friday... I think they kick off at 6pm (it has been a while for me so maybe it would be best to call the number on the website and ask), make sure you stay around to watch the advanced class if it is OK to. These are the guys that have been training there for over a year, some have trained there over 20 years. The guys with red shirts (red sashes) have been there (training consistently) for around 10 years and over... see if you can count how many there are?

If you get there early (6pm ish) this is the best time probably to have a chat with Gary himself.

No. You just want to be an idiot it is about his organizations. As usual flunkies want people to show up, see them spar or fight and that invalidates the questions.

It doesn't.

People can fight. Some people are good at it. Still if they don't have a legit lineage why claim a fake one?

I have heard of this school, my brother in law trains there, its a very large school. They train in a ware house on a concrete floor, they do alot of pad work, push ups, drills etc etc

I wouldn't go so far as to say its bs because their training is intense and they do spar. Their red sashes are apparently very good fighters, although they do make some interesting claims (red sashes have never lost in a street fight, all challenges to the gym has been defeated etc etc).

As for the kung fu aspect, I'm not so sure about, from what my brother in law tells me, its more like RBSD than kung fu. Their attacks focus on eye gouging, throat punching and groin kicks.
