I find it entertaining that adding "western influences" still wasn't enough to make it useful. Went over 'bout as effective as patching the holes in an already sunken boat.

I kid, but yes, he rejected much of it, including it's insistence that it's complete. Not only that, but Bruce was a child actor, long before taking any martial arts. Get that, an actor, as a lifelong profession, not a fighter.

His real genius in martial arts, was advocating cross training. He'd get schooled if he popped up in mma competition, w/o some training updates.

Continue butthurt (That's what this thread is about).

Also, score one in-thread point for chun. First blood.

The problem with the Aikido brigade, is that they bug-out and go home too early.

"You clearly don't understand, I'm wasting my time with you, so I'll go and speak to more intelligent people" is a good butt-hurt line, but it has no thread longevity.

Its odd though, because as someone pointed out above, on youtube they can write essays like a ************.

If only IIF was worse at his job here, I'd love to Aiki-troll from a dupe account. I've heard so much first hand that I could use, I'm sure I could stay ranty for days.

Anyway, in the absence of Aiki staying power, I'm going RBSD or Krav. Just because when they bring a nutter, it's usually a nutter of a higher order.

I'd have gone with the Bruce Lee ones too, but my JKD instructor is a massive Bruce Lee nuthugger, and it's not so funny now I have to hear it during classes.

No there are 4 or 5 of those IIRC. They get to large closed and moved. Also, that is about money less about how badass Ninjas are in any capacity. Basically, someone is making a documentary and the other guy hates blacks.

IIF, can anything compare?

JFSUSA and all of the related threads wins hands down. Those threads cause people to quit bullshdio and whine on other websites. The Count dante stuff is about 8-10 people vs 2-3. Same people in a continued thread.

Almost any DTT chun excuse thread beats that hands down. You have to look at how many different posters appear.

Oh and I forgot ar549 needs an honorable mention. He burst on the scene had a good premise and then self destructed. He is mentioned because, he is the basis for my quote usage. One of our better posters was going to meet him and it degenerate into a dick tuck. Ar549 went back, deleted or altered his post to appear the name calling was unwarranted.

It did get ugly with insulting his wife, but he was instigating the BS.

JFS and ar549 were pretty funny reads. I also like to see aikidoka try to post as wise, peaceful embodiments of aikido philosophy, and later on become passive aggressive and possibly confrontational and butthurt.
