So then I can definitely believe teh sport= teh deadly.

Like the time I had a cyst burst on my shin bone from dodgy ashiwaza and got infected, fever, felt terrible etc... If it wasn't for modern antibiotics and anti-inflammatories I would probably be dead from blood poisoning.
    Oooh, nasty.

Did you take video of the draining pus and upload it to YouTube, or popthatzit.com (the latter I got linked to the other day - some really nasty stuff on there, yet I found myself watching it).

On a rare day off when I was in Afghanistan I ended up watching people pop or drain cysts for 3 hrs. I couldn't click away. It was like "EEEEEWWWWW!!!! OW WHATS THAT VID?"

One of the most brutal African combat sports is Dambe, Nigerian boxing. Where they have one fist covered in very tightly knotted cords which cause horrible cuts and wounds on their opponents. I have heard that there are allegedly some bouts where they do the whole dipping the 'gloved' hand in glue and glass, but I'm not sure they really exist.

Got to see some Dambe too. Sad to say I was actually disappointed. From what I had read and then to see it in person I had built it up to more that what it was which was mostly haymakers.

"That's even worse - goddamn it!"
<watch to end, click on next one>
"Why are these sickos putting this stuff up??? Why???"
<watch to end, click on next one>
"I am going to throw up in my mouth."

    etc...?

    (I know I was...)

One thing I learned from the internet is that you can store a lot of pus in a cow or a horse.

Nah mine burst sub-cutaneously, which is what caused all the problems, because all that gunk and puss went into my bloodstream...

It's a subject for a different thread, but quite a few arts involve big, loose-looking punches. I see them in CMA, Kajukenbo and Sambo. I know most people with a boxing and karate background don't like them, but there's still a difference between the wild, untrained haymaker and the kind of stuff I'm talking about.

Which category did the Dambe boxers fit into ?

You can get videos very similar to that on YouTube. There was one I saw of an African guy undergoing a 'big pus drainage' - but from his back. The infection had also damaged his lung and you could see the air pulsing under his skin/flesh as he breathed.

    NSFW and fucking gross:
