    Limalamujinkan Taijutsu

In all seriousness, it has come to my attention that there are a small number of Limalama practitioners on the site. I have googled and archive searched, but i still dont really grasp what is so different about it. It looks like Ke?po.

Limalama is SUPER unregulated, so you get some that looks weird, and some that looks a bit better.

Also, it's a sister art to kempo, so that would be why.

Edit: I have also noticed a striking similarity between it and silat kuntau tekpi...not sure how helpful that is...

Very useful , thankyou. With that in mind, do you know of any footage of any full contact sparring/better tuition?

So you're showing me bad Muay thai? I mean, you seemed critical of the video I posted, so I assumed you were critical of the instruction the man was giving?

It's limalama that they take to muay thai tournaments, and they did pretty well if I am not mistaken, and you asked for limalama in full contact....

I didn't even watch the vid, limalama tiger has some wierd stuff and some not so wierd stuff, this one isn't so bad.

Here is the founder doing some stuff

Here is my old training partners doing some limalama stuff

I am not entirely sure what you are asking.

I am not entirely sure what you are showing me. Ok, i've probably missed some fundamental questions here.

Is your Limalama combat based, or do you drill as shown in the videos above. Is it solely for demonstration, or is it taught with the intention to be used in self defence situations?

Lots of drills and lots of sparring, drills are not to be used for self defense, they are to teach you how to flow. Nobody will pull these off in real life because that is not what they are meant for. Each drill is meant to make you a little bit better at certain things i.e. blocks punches breaks footwork etc. that you would not be able to practice as easily during full contact.

    I hope that helped.

It did indeed. Makes a lot of sense actually. Do you do any pad work? How do you spar?
