^ Clearly a JKD technique. Either that, or redneck Judo.
You can tell that for a brief, glorious moment he REALLY wanted to grab the fence for leverage and start kicking.....

I miss the good old days of the UFC, when only the most elite champions of the various martial arts came together to test their styles against one another.

And by "came together," I mean..

You lads missed a big oppertunity not hanging around for representation (hell, we gave the vote to women eventually, it was only a matter of time that Americans got it too!)

I've seen it argued by historians that if it hadn't been for the War of 1812, it's likely Canada wouldn't have had a surge in nationalism, and might have eventually become part of the American colonies. If only the US had been more patient, they could've had us.

If the Brits hadn't had better things to do than hold onto the American colonies, we'd all be speaking English now.

I saw this maybe a year or so ago, I thought it had been linked from here.

"...I spoke of HM Royal Marines of which I was in 45 Commando's back in the mid 80's. ... I'll ask you again have you ever fought for your life and had to intentionally hurt someone severely? Have you ever gouged a mans eye out in a desperate struggle to survive? Have you stomped on a mansballs till they are pouring with blood and he faints? I have and it works...."

I wouldn't care as much if all the RBSD fags didn't make **** up to justify their groin grabbing.

And here is the real question. Why do these "street" guys always think they have come up with something better than the tried and true. If it works on trained combat athletes then its going to work on an average person regardless of where you are. This pokey pinchy BS is less reliable than bump, trap, roll, now I'm on top and can pass guard or drop bombs.
Its because the Tried and true takes time and effort to learn. Athleticism and not eating donuts for breakfast lunch and dinner also play a part.

You will be surprised how much credibility someone can gain by showing uneducated people techniques like the "pinch the nips" reversal and not even have them do it. Instead of showing them bridge and roll, having them do it, having them fail and keep doing it until they pass. People feel that martial arts is more knowledge then hard work and athleticism.
