Doof i can't make the comp this weekend now... which is a complete pisser, I was hoping to roll with you at some point:) I hyper extended two fingers on my left hand in gi training to almost breaking point. Gripping is impossible so competing this weekend is out the window. Might see you at the nationals in a couple of months though, good luck and let me know how you get on.
You might be waiting a long time for your fight to happen and if you win you could end up back on the mats within 15 minutes (depending on your division). This was a problem for some guys at the nationals last year who didn't bring enough carbs with them, I'd say pack an energy drink and some flapjacks for slow release energy just to be on the safe side.
Re the 'breakfast of champions'... if you want a portion of gyno with the kippers then don't forget the dianabol -

Don't forget weigh ins are pretty much at registration when you arrive and are in gi. So if you find out you're not on the mats for a couple of hours hold off the big breakfast until after you weigh in;) Check the weight categories in the link I gave you, it's a little late for cutting but you might be able to drop a couple of pounds if you're on the border line between divisions. Good luck!
