I got to give the Aikido guy props for pressure testing his stuff. Sure it didn't work as well as when they do compliant training, but isn't that one of the points of cross training?
Plus he was able to get some takedowns and submissions.
Show us how its done, then.

I think it's pretty cool that the aikido guy went and tested his stuff, would love to see him against a more skilled opponent though.
However, the times when he grabs tkd-guy's wrists for what seemed like forever to me, made me a) think that should have been punished more b) wonder if it would have been more effective if tkd-guy didn't wear gloves/ probably tapes.
He shouldn't have been fucking about for the wrist while the guy was standing there largely uncontrolled by him. It was a mistake rather than a style problem

And credit I think to the TKD guy too. He obviously wasn't hugely experienced, but his behaviour in terms of maintaining a consistent (and as such safe) level of pace and contact for the exercise was great. He didn't start going all out after being taken down a few times. I bet it was tempting to take advantage of a few openings. Especially as it was going on video.

"what's the best thing about aikido then?"

OG gives KFG bare knuckle, no rules.
Video is filmed and posted online.
Have you seen those Hatankai Aikido videos btw? I don't really want to post more stuff that people already know about and are sick of seeing...
