Really fat guy who used to work the bar at a place I used to drink occasionally. Virtually no visible neck due to chest/shoulder blubber (imagine a chin that was partially buried, so as to be set back in the flab).

OP's post made me think of this guy, and whether he could be choked out easily...

In my experience its quite difficult to choke out guys that fat, but then again I'm not very good at newaza.

Although the people with fat necks I've tried to choke had some idea of how to defend a choke intelligently, random fat man in pub probably doesn't.

I am a no stripe white belt in BJJ. I can't choke any of the purple belts at my school. I thought it was because they were dedicated and well trained. It is not. Clearly, they are unchokable. Thank you OP. I have definitely not gotten dumber for having read your post.

change that from "purple belts" to "BLUE BELTS" and you are nosing closer to the correct

Skilled obese guys are hard to choke when they can suck their chin into the folds of their fat. It's ridiculously annoying. Same thing applies when you are mounting them but they are so damn fat that your knees won't touch the ground or they are so fat you can't have hooks in from behind.

I hate large fat guys. Best to ankle lock those Staypuff marshmallow men.

Can't really choke the vast majority of the white belts with more time in than I have either. Just thought the unchokable purple belt made for a better mockingly insincere post.

Uh, yeah. That was the point of the post. My belief that these men are indeed unchokable was actually sarcasm. I am well aware that absolute beginners are not experts.

wow, all those years, studying BJJ, in order to get a good choke defense was a huge waste.

I could have just build some muscle around my neck and that's it...you're unchokeable.

OP, is it possible for me to become unarmbarable if i have muscular arms?
