Ok, for my job I lift **** all the time. Boxes, freight, etc.
Well, in the beginning I'd just bend over and do a bent leg deadlift to pick it up (trying to doubletask the workload and all) instead of squatting...
Now I can deadlift so much better than I squat. Should I just burst out some boostrappers? Or is it really not important?

I wasn't able to find any piece of equipment that you may have been referring to.....
Were you meaning straps for your hands?
Why don't you do a squat motion now to bring things up to par?

boostrapper = touch your toes, and go down and up. isolates the quadraceps.
Its not a machine.. its the equivilant of a leg extension machine though.
And um... my hams/gleuts are stronger than my quads. Kinda ironic, huh... I guess I should just squat a bunch to get back up to symmetry.
