Red curry with chicken, eggplant, crispy basil leaves, crispy green beans, and peppers. A small portion of brown rice. Tom Kha soup (coconut, lemongrass, ginger, lime juice, fish sauce are the main ingredients) and then for lunch I had some Chinese style BBQ pork. Dinner is roasted pork belly with crispy skin.

Pork twice in one day makes me a very sad person.lunch I had some Chinese style BBQ pork. Dinner is roasted pork belly with crispy skin.
I worked in restaurants of varying greasiness for years until doing human services, I would never go back to it, although I do help a friend out with catering gigs from time to time, but its a lot more enjoyable when its a once in a while thing. -

Tonight is stir-fried thread egg-noodles, with prawns, mange tout, mushrooms, baby corn. There will be an egg whisked through it just at the end.
For pud-pud, a kind of oat-biscuit/rock cake thing. All washed down with milk because I bought too much, and forgot beer)

Dug up the first early potatoes from the garden. Taste great! Steamed last night with salad and cold meat. Fried left overs in olive oil for lunch today
Growing fruit and veg can be very time consuming and hard work, but the first strawberry, the first peas and the first early spuds make it all worth while
