About six years ago.
When i was kickboxing a new guy came in.
later he got kicked in the groin during sparring nothing special yet,
but then it started to bleed, really blood ran down his legs.
the coach later told us that the idiot had his car keys in his cup.
because he thought his keys would get stolen.
he could just have asked for a locker or asked the coach to keep them -

Probably did it for attention.
One of the guys I train with broke his wrist during rolling once. Had to get pins out in. I wasn't there, though.
Worst thing I've ever seen, though not in a dojo, on an obstacle course, was a broken leg. Chick jumped off the wall, didn't bend her knee or something and... crack.
Horrible noise.
Chaos? Panic?... Disorder??

You guys are great you make me hurt just reading these so I will share a couple of mine. in 1985- or 86 I was working out with Sifu Anthony Morgon (Wingchundo.com)learning stick take away. He took my stick away and broke my two front teeth with the stick. The second was a couple years ago at Medford Judo when we were doing a drill with me on my back and Sensei Jessie Ellis using a shinai hit me as I was evading the shinai and broke my left thumb. Anthony Morgon is a student of Sijo James Demile a direct student of Bruce Lee and one tuff SOB.

Well I can't beat vlad's either, but I remember while warming up for class we had a copule guys working with bo's, one guy planted the Bo and attempted a jump side kick, lost his grip and being a TKD guy and not knowing how to fall stuck his arm out, needless to say as he landed he suffered a compound fracture of his arm. Nothing like a couple of bones protruding out the skin of a forearm to make your day

Style: Stabbing the Face.--
Krav Maga:
-My friend shattered both her tibia and fibula when a much larger guy cut kicked her off her feet.
-Some n00b blocked a round kick to the thigh with the back of his hand. The results were predictable.
-Someone failed a cup check. He had to be taken to the hospital after passing out from the shock and pain.
-I failed a cup check, although I didn't need to be taken to the hospital (the bruise on my dick went away on its own).
-Someone else didn't fail a cup check. It's just those plastic shock doctor cups have a nasty tendency to crack.
BJJ:
-There's always that one guy that thinks it's cool to try and dislocate your joints *after* you tap. A guy 100 lbs. heavier than me thought it was hilarious to try and dislocate my wrist (he got switched to rolling with the instructor and never came back to another class after that).
Parkour:
-Too many high speed faceplants to describe. A lot of n00bs lead with the head with predictable results.
-More dislocated joints and broken bones than I can count. My favorite/most horrifying example is watching my friend shatter his ankle so badly that he described the sensation of bone chips floating around in his joint (which had swollen to the size of a softball). I also once injured my shoulder so badly that my trapezius area turned into a soccer ball sized lump of pain and I couldn't tilt my head to the left for a week.
-I watched some guy try a precision drop onto a handrail. The rail wasn't too cooperative and decided to split his scrotum open. Doctors were not able to reattach the testicle that fell out.

I still can't beat Vlad's story about being impaled by a staff. Damnit. -
